Founded in 1999, Microsystems on Silicon (MOS) is a design house, specializing in the development of mixed-signal integrated circuits (IC). Apart from proprietary application specific integrated circuits (ASIC), MOS designs and markets its own application specific standard products (ASSP). Located in Pretoria, South Africa, MOS consists of a group of highly innovative and motivated people. Since May 2002 the majority of the shares in MOS are held by ELMOS Semiconductor AG in Germany.
